(1) The license issued in accordance with Rule 12 shall be renewed every five years by the authority issuing such license.
(2) In order to renew the license in accordance with sub-rule (1), the health institution shall apply at least three months before the expiry of the license in the format as per Schedule-12, attaching the details and documents mentioned in the same schedule.
(3) Upon application for renewal in accordance with sub-rule (2), the license issuing body shall: after carrying out necessary investigations or if it is found that the health institution is operating in accordance with the criteria mentioned in Schedule-8, the license shall be renewed before the expiry of the license period.
